Frequently Asked Questions

What ages can participate?

All youth and children 18 and under are welcome to particiapte. If you have friends or relatives from outside Enterprise that you would like to invite, they are also welcome!

Where is the race?

The race for all participants will begin at the Allgaier swimming pool (4101 Summer Ridge Road) and will end at the Enterprise park.

What time does the race begin?

The race begins at 8:30 AM on Labor Day morning. We encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to get your race bib and prepare for the race.

What equipment will each participant need?

Each participant will need to bring a bike, bike helmet, running shoes and swimwear. Optionally, less confident swimmers can bring a life jacket for the pool. Swimming goggles can also be worn, but are not required. Please note that a bike helmet is required for all participants.

How do participants transition between the pool, the bike and the run? Will they need to change clothes during the race?

The race begins with the swim, so participants should arrive prepared to go into the pool. After the swim, participants will put their shoes on as they transition to their bike. We recommend they have a shirt and shorts that they can quickly put over their swimwear for the remainder of the race.

How much does it cost?

While a participation fee is not required, a donation of $1 - $10 per participant is suggested. 100% of donations are put back into the event, ensuring we have sufficient resources to support it this year and in the future. To contribute, please visit our Donations page.

Can I donate?

Yes! The event is made possible with generous contributions from members of the community. If you would like to donate to the event, please visit our Donations page.

What about traffic and safety?

The entire course will run within the Summer Ridge subdivision. The race will not use any portion of Old Highway Road. There will be parents and volunteers throughout the course to supervise, assist and provide directions.

For the safety of all the racers, please DO NOT DRIVE on the course during the race. Please consider biking or walking.

Do I need to sign up or register?

To save time on the day of the race, we encourage you to register in advance. Each participant will need a permission slip and waiver, which can be done as you register online or on the day of the race. If you don't register in advance, please arrive to the race early so you will have enough time to register.

Will there be prizes?

Of course!

Can I help out with the event?

Yes! If you are interested to help out, please contact BJ Hill or Julie Park. We need volunteers to help provide directions on the course, at the start and finish line, etc.
